When you first run WorldTimer, there will be one default clock displayed. This clock is the Local clock which displays the date and time for the local time zone. This clock can not be deleted and is always the first clock in the list.
When you install WorldTimer, it will automatically be added to your Start menu.
When you run WorldTimer, the WorldTimer control icon is place in the system
tray.
To add a new clock, right-click on the tray icon for WorldTimer and choose Configure. This will bring up the configuration dialog :
To add a Year 2000 Countdown Timer, click on the Add Y2K Clock button. The following rules apply for Year 2000 Countdown Timers :
Example :
To move an existing clock to a different position, highlight the clock in question and choose the Move Up or Move Down button to change the clocks position.
Note that you cannot change the position of the local clock, which is always the first clock.
To remove an existing clock, right-click on the tray icon for WorldTimer and choose Configure.
Note that you can not remove the Local clock.
To change details about a clock, right-click on the tray icon for WorldTimer and choose Configure.
To change the way the clock display window looks, first right-click on the tray icon for WorldTimer and choose Configure.
Click on the Appearance tab in the configuration dialog. This will display a number of options that you can change :
To force the window to always be on top, check the Always On Top box.
To change the Background colour, the colour of any of the text or the colours used for analog clocks, click on the corresponding button and then choose from the available colours :
By clicking on the Toggle Map button, you can display a map of the world.
The Time Zones toggle button at the top right of the World Map will divide the map into the world time zones.
The Day / Night toggle button at the top right of the World Map will display the current regions of light and dark on the map
Both of these options can be displayed at once to give a picture of timezones and light / dark zones.
